Happy Spring from Me, Doggie & Big Dog!
|

Hello Friends!

March Roared in like a Lion!

Spring is Coming !  A short while ago it was so warm that the dogs wanted to get their bikes out and go to the beach !  It was warm !   So we went out practiced for spring – we went out and biked and Marcus even took the dogs out for an early run for spring kite flying!

Then the cold came, then the snow came, then the sun came and melted it and then some more snow came!

So now all the daffodils are 6 inches tall under a big drift of snow !  And ten feet away is a patch of bare grass where all the birds are coming in the morning to have breakfast and get warm in the sunshine.

The last snow, ice, rain storm we had blew in off the ocean so parts of the grass to the east are all showing and trying to act like its going to be spring soon!

Out and About

It’s been another busy month!
We have been bundling up, Big Dog & Doggie are making sure they are cozy in the car, and we have been visiting with great friends all over !

We had fun with the moms and young ones at the Newburyport Mothers Club as well as a return visit to the Newbury Town Library !  And yes everyone was happily anticipating a chance to talk and visit with Doggie and Big Dog.

The dogs have been thinking of taking a trip to the North Pole. This winter its been so cold here in Maine that they think that they are now well prepared to travel across the polar ice cap!  So they want to go to the North Pole by dog sled of course and pulled by the professionals !  They are planning on riding on the sled!  We will see if they still want to head north when the days start getting warmer and we can get the bikes and skates out.

Early one morning during winter school vacation we headed up to see the campers at South Portland Recreation.  Wow, minutes before we were getting ready to sing my microphone head set broke into 2 pieces !
Well the show must go on – so the dogs helped and pulled out my spare mike and stand and we all  had a rollicking good time !

Lots more fun concerts and visits are coming up in March and some very special shows are coming along in April.  Why in the next few weeks we have a bunch of celebrations with St Patrick’s Day , April Fools Day and the Easter Bunny is on the way!
